Villani Dental Practice in Rome

Since January 2025, Aphel Helios has been operating at Dr. Villani’s dental practice, where it is used daily for multimedia interaction with patients. It welcomes patients at the entrance, providing information on the services offered and, when appropriate, calls them and guides them to the examination room.

“Thanks to Aphel, we have simplified the reception process in the waiting room and the accompaniment of our patients to their appointments. This has allowed us to optimize our working time and enhance the image of the practice.”

In 2020, Aphel entered the Pediatric Onco-hematology Department of the Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Taranto, supporting the medical and nursing staff in communicating with children. Aphel tells stories, plays games, and becomes an ideal learning companion, helping children break the monotony of their daily routine.

“Aphel definitely brings help and support to hospitalized children, who must face a period of stress and fear during their stay.”

In the radiology department of San Salvatore Hospital in L’Aquila, the robots monitor flows, manage queues, collect medical histories via touchscreen, and guide patients to diagnostic rooms, tracking every interaction to optimize safety and efficiency. Integrated with hospital systems, they improve the patient experience and lighten the staff workload, marking the future of healthcare with increasingly advanced communication between humans and machines.
